Shimla Manali Travel Itinerary

DAY 01: Shimla

Once you reach Kalka Railway Station, meet the Exploreb Travels representative, after a brief meeting and greetings, transfer to your first destination Shimla by road. Shimla is called as “Queen of Hills” for it’s popularity and beauty. It is one of the most visited hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Check-in at the hotel as soon as you arrive. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own. You can visit Shimla Mall, Shimla kalibari, in this evening. After dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02: Shimla to Kufri Excursion Tour 

After breakfast, start your excursion tour to Kufri, a must-visit place. Located at an altitude of 7500 feet above sea level, Kufri is serene, full with scenery. It is surrounded by tourist attractions like Mahasu Peak, Sugar Bungalow, Indira Tourist Park etc. Evening is free. Night stay at Shimla.

DAY 03: Shimla to Manali

Enjoy your breakfast on the 3rd day of your tour, complete the check out formalities from the hotel and start your journey towards Manali. Manali is situated at an altitude of 6700 feet, it is a very popular hill station which is crowded with a huge number of tourists every year. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening visit famous Manali Mall road. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04: Manali Sightseeing

Today, get ready to see the main sightseeing spota and attractions around the Manali city. Pray at Hadimba Devi Temple – about 450 years old ancient temple dedicated to the Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhima. Later visit Ghatotkach Tree Temple, and other Sightseeing places. Dinner and Overnight stay at Manali.

DAY 05: Manali to Rohtang Pass to Manali

The day is set to enjoy the sights and experiences the Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. Enjoy the magnificent view of the glaciers and the snow-covered mountains. We will first visit Rohtang pass, covered with snow almost all year round, located at an altitude of 13000 feet, it is open from June to October. Later visit Solang Valley, in addition to its beautiful scenery, the place also offers adventure opportunities like zorbing and para gliding. The day is full of fun activities and various enchanting visions.

Return to the hotel in the evening, after dinner overnight stay.

PS: Rohtang Pass excursion is not included our package cost, due to Manali Taxi Union. It will be chargeable extra payable directly by the guests as per the taxi union permit.

Note: Rohtang Pass will be closed on every Tuesday & sightseeing tour will be possible on subject weather condition.

DAY 06: Manali to Chandigarh

Today is the last day of the tour. Relish an early morning breakfast. Complete the check-out formalities. Begin your drive back to Chandigarh. Get an assisted transfer to the Chandigarh railway station / Airport for your onward journey.
